Some customers have reported issues with Team.biz Windows Store app being blocked by Avast.
We've contacted Avast with our request for them to whitelist Team.biz and improve their anti-virus detection. We've also tested Team.biz on the leading anti-virus applications and it only appears to be Avast with this issue.
To use Team.biz on a machine with Avast, please complete the following steps to exclude the WindowsApps folder (the Windows Store folder) from Avast shield protection. Alternatively, you may install the directly-downloaded version of Team.biz here from www.team.biz/downloads as it is only the Windows App store version that Avast blocks.
- Open up the Avast user interface (can be done by double clicking the Avast icon on task bar)
- Go to "Settings"
- Navigate to the "Exclusions"
- Under "File Paths", add: C:\Program Files\WindowsApps\*
- Under "CyberCapture", add : C:\Program Files\WindowsApps
- Click "OK"
